Thomas Hicky per ship Forth, assigned to Archibald Bell, charged with neglect of duty....Thomas Bell states - The prisoner is employed as a shepherd; and on my return from the bush I found that the prisoner had lost 105 sheep, eighteen of which were never found alive but since were found dead. The prisoner makes no defence. The Bench find the prisoner guilty but do not award him any punishment on account of the good character given to him by his employer and on his promising to be more careful in future
